01Which POS systems can you move from?
Square, Lightspeed, Vend, Clover, Zoho POS, Toast and most others that can export products, customers and sales. Tell us yours in the form and we’ll confirm.
02Do we need new hardware?
Not always. Many barcode scanners, receipt printers and cash drawers work with Shopify POS. Card readers are usually replaced with Shopify’s own; we tell you exactly what to keep and what to buy.
03Will the shop have to close while we switch?
No. We move your data and set up Shopify POS alongside your current till, train the team, then switch over before opening or after closing on a day you pick.
04Do gift cards and store credit carry over?
Yes. Open gift card balances and store credit move across with their codes, so customers can keep using them from day one.
05How long does a POS migration take?
